Hello and happy new year to all! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and that you're ready to make 2015 count!
One thing that the Foreign Market wants to accomplish in 2015 is to offer more consistent and diverse content for you to enjoy, so we're beginning the year with a few guest bog entries from a young African style star, Siata Swaray. Check out her first post:
Hello beautiful people! My name is Siata Swaray and I was born in Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am very excited to be featured in The Foreign Market because I appreciate and stand behind its purpose of shedding more light on African products and I love everything about fashion.
When the opportunity presented itself, I was honored and it was my pleasure to be a part of such an amazing movement. The Foreign Market has inspired me to explore African fabrics and designers at a level which I hadn't before. I am now looking forward to putting all of the African fabrics in my closet to good use!
My first look is an elegant skirt with a sweetheart top made by Sierra Leonean tailor, Ibrahim Gbassy Bangura. My accessories were simple; sandals, a bracelet from a boutique that I visited in Beijing and a Madam Wokie clutch.
Hope you enjoyed! -XOXO
