Folake Coker, creative director of the Nigeria-based brand "Tiffani Amber" is known to deliver lightweight, loose-flowing styles that are symbolic of the effervescence of the West African woman.  The S/S 2016 line entitled "Marina," was no exception with its  bold tones and neat seams that were placed artistically off-center. Skewed collars, slanted seams and billowing fabric were carefully combined to created flowing silhouettes that mimicked the graceful bend of ship sails as they carve through the wind. This plus literal boat designs on sheer, aquatic-colored fabric took refreshing risks such as trousers under a mock wrap dress and metallic chiffon maxi dresses that were as refreshing as bringing fashion to the sea.  There was certainly a lot to love in this collection, but I've selected a few of my absolute favorites below:
